Spring
is in the air!!! Unfortunately,
springtime can be a dangerous time for our pets due to all of the flowering
plants and the products used to keep them healthy. Here is a small list of toxic plants/products
that, if ingested, can cause deadly results in our cats and dogs. If you find, or even suspect, that your pet
has ingested any of these, please call the Pet Poison Hotline immediately.

Other dangers in the yard that all pet owners should know about:
- Mouse and rat poison
- Fertilizers that contain bone meal, blood meal, feather meal, and iron
- Insecticides and pesticides, especially those that contain organophosphates
